    Default Mark Twain Landing

The family is headed to Mark Twain Landing for the weekend. We will be camping there at the landing....I noticed that there is a boat ramp fairly close to the campground....I would like to stay close to that area and try my luck for some crappie....any advise on places to try "close" to that area without having to run out with all the traffic...would be appreciated.

Everyone wants the answer to that one. I think it will depend on weather. Spalding ramp is very crowded around noon and later in day. Think has been very slow on crappie but
fair if you find them. Lil Indian and Big Indian creeks are near and sometimes pretty good.
Down there almost every weekend but not always fishing. Try Southforkresort. net for
info, not a lot but pretty good info on MTL. It is under Blog/ fishing report.
