    Default LOZ this weekend

Going to fishing LOZ this weekend, staying around the 56 mm. Anybody been doing good in that area? Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Haven't fished up there all year but i'd be lookin for fish on docks, laydowns and logs along the old channel and don't be afraid to look shallow there could be fish in the very back end of coves,i know there's a bunch of wood in the very end of rainy creek check it out you might get into some shallow fish back there.....good luck and if i hear any reports from up there i'll pass them on to you.

Good luck Brett. I've never been that far up the lake. Hope you nail 'em!

Based on the stream of automotive vehicles on Highway 54 tonight, the lake area is going to be very active.

Default Sunay's Crappie of the Day

Had some fun catching a limit of 9-10 inch fish. Then called it quits in the morning after catching this nice one going 14"+ on a blue/silver Slab Buster. Not been finding too many of these size lately on the main channel. Landed it before breaking some 6lb Cajun line.

Thanks for the help guys, we ended up cleaning 40 over the weekend. Never found a consistent pattern, caught a few in every depth on docks and brush piles. The shad were everywhere shallow, every cove had 10-20 balls of shad on the surface, they were everywhere and nothing chasing them. Fun time and surprisingly the lake wasn't as busy as expected.
