    Default Fellows Lake last weekend

One of the boys at work was bass fishing on Fellows Lake last weekend and ended up with this. Said it went 48 inches. Not the best pictures since it was taken with his buddies phone but still a nice fish. WATCH THOSE TEETH. :D

It's just a couple of miles north of Springfield. I've never fished it. They've got a max horsepower limit on it but I don't know what it is. Guess my lazy azz could look it up.:o

40hp motor 16 foot boat max. You must buy a permit and they will check your boat out so don't even try if it is outside the regs. They measure it!

Steve, they stocked them, maybe late 90's ??, don't recall for sure. Friend that lives in Springfield was catching some 30" fish early part of this decade. He caught his trolling diving plug type baits at a pretty fast clip. Last I knew it was 40 HP max.

That kinda sucks. you would think they would go to a no wake limit and allow any size boat.

Wow, I drove 15 hours to Canada a month ago to try to catch something similar when all I had to do was a few hours south!!!!

No doubt those are fun fish, and from what I hear the Muskie program in Southern MO has been pretty successful.
