Glad you had a good day on the water Quinn. At least you didn't have to clean a bunch of stinky fish when you got home:rolleyes:
Not so good, caught One bass today and that was it.
Tried black/chart, blue/pearl, orange/chart, white/green, with nibbles, without nibbles, used large jig heads, small jig heads, even a roadrunner jig.
Tried casting, tried dipping around the brush on the banks, tried trolling around a bit, no crappie today.
I did get to learn how to unwind fishing line out of a trolling motor prop though
Beautiful out today though.
And the boat traffic wasn't bad, I'm usually the only one in a boat here.

Crappie.......its whats for dinner!!
hey rugs a bad day on the water is better than no day on the water, I like it better when the fish are biting, but I will take a day out anytime I can, better luck next time
Quinn, you should try your boat out on Springfork. Fish the far south end of the lake. Dip the weed beds and lilly pads. Lots of fish to be caught there.
