    Default Smithville 8/28

Pretty decent day of fishing. Caught our fish in 19-26 feet of water 6-12 foot down. Colors were blue/white and orange/chartreuse and purple/clear with sparkles. We fished the first cove south and east of W and the cove they call airplane. We graphed ALOT of fish, but it sure was hard to find an active bite today. We had to REALLY work for the keepers today. Alot of sitting still and then working the jig in a frantic dying minnow retrieve seemed to seal the deal on the light biters some of the time. Big fish was just shy of 13". God bless.
