    Default On the mend

I suppose this is after the fact , but I just got out of the hospital a couple days ago, and this is the first chance I've had to let you all know what happened. I had a serious pancreatus attack a couple weeks ago and was in the Hosp for 9 days. It was related to having my gall bladder out 12 years ago. 10-15 years after a GB attack and removal your body can still make stones and that's what happened. I had a stone blocking up something and that's how you get pancreatus. An attack is agonizing and I went to the Hosp and they admitted me immediately. The pancreas has to cool down before they can do a procedure called an ERCP to repair everything, so it was no food or water for a week in the hosp, then a trip to Buffalo for the procedure and a couple more days to make sure everything starts to work again properly in my gut.

It was a very rough 9 days, and I think my doc wanted to keep me for a while longer, but I was goin nuts there. I got almost no sleep for the first week, maybe an hour a night, and the last couple nights 2-3 hrs. First night home I slept for 13 hrs.

Just wanted to let you all know what happened, and that I'm on the mend, and will be my old self soon. I feel a little better every day.
Good things come to those who bait.
