Default Marshall State School lake 8/22

Fished from 10 am till about 3:00 pm first time running a bow mount trolling motor (you guys were right,it worked great). Caught 1 nice crappie, couple nice LM bass. It was a nice day out over all.
The old Seaking may be a little ill right now, but it is cool to get on the lake because this lake is electric only:
The cool thing about this little lake is that you can cover it exactly like you do a cove at Truman or cruising around the docs like LOZ, the only difference is you can't yank the trolling motor up and jam to a new place when things aren't working out, you have to figure out where the fish are and what they want to eat
    I love my lake,
And I love my old boat.

Good job Rugs. Sounds like you had a blast. And you couldn't have had a better day to be out.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Glad you had a good time, Quinn. "OLD" isn't always a bad thing. Guess that "old" Humminbird isn't installed yet?

    Oh yea, its installed !!
I've been using it with the oars to paddle around and do some fishing on really calm days.
    It works pretty good thanks.

I have a pretty neat nostalgic setup.
The boat is 1960, motor 1960, the trolling motor is early 80's, and I don't know how old the Humminbird is.
Now I'm looking to get one of those galvanized minnow buckets it ought to fit right in.
