Sounds like you guys had a good time. Sounds like it was a rough day had by all.
Well Sam and I got to Sparrowfoot at 5:45 this morning. NO OSS. Guess he decided to sleep in. So we farted around waiting on him. Speaking of farting around, decided to try out the new outhouse. It was nice and clean. So Old Senile Senior (OSS) finally shows up and we headed to Otter Creek. Fish all depths and all color combination I could think of. Fish didn't really seem to prefer one color over the other. I knew I should have brought some minnows. Bite was pretty slow today but the weather was absolutely awesome. It was actually a little cool running across the water early. We thought we ended up with 16 pretty good keepers but when we got home and counted them we actually had 18 crappie. Only one of the keepers was under 11 inches. But we did catch several Nojoes today. Of course Monty was fishing for the wrong species of fish as you will see in the picture. Most fish were caught in shallow water 8 feet or less anywhere from off the bottom to a couple of feet down. Thanks Sam and OSS for a great day. As far as we know we didn't see any other CDC members today.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Don't let Sam catch a good one early: make it toward the end of the day, cause we had to hear about it all day long..... had a good time always do, would like to had 2 limits but just couldn't do it...... maybe we can get'em next time......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Only thing that could make today a better day now is if Martin would put the Cry Baby in the wall with 29 to go.
