Default Fishing kids first time fishing

    First time fishing

Fishing at the pond, old hands at fishing now

They cast and catch their own fish now. I still bait the hook but they do the rest. This is a little pond in town that has a ton of little fish and they catch small bluegill on every cast.
Ryan fishes for awhile and then gets tired of fishing an goes across the street to the park and plays on the play equipment there. Jadyne hangs in there and fishes all day if we are out there. She is my little fishing buddy.

    Default Why's it like that?

Right now my daughter is 11 and my boy is 9. From the age of 1yr old til now on each of them, the girl has always stayed with the fishing and the boy has always found something better to do. Either way, it looks like you have 2 longtime partners there that should give you lots to think, laugh, and post about for a long time!! Nice PICS!!

Gotta love a fishergirl! My son and daughter are both 7 now. My girl will bait and take her fish off of her own hook. My son won't. (He will bait it). My daughter will stay ALL day as long as you will stay. My son gets bored unless he's constantly catching.
Hmmmmm... is there a trend here????????

Thank you Tim, for me this is what drives me. Spending time with the grandkids and watching them grow and develope, and maybe having something to do with their outlook on life and enjoying the great outdoors. I really believe if you let them enjoy the out of doors than you might keep them off the streets later in life.
