    Default Wappapello 8-22

Tall Timber and I hit it a little before daylight this morning and fished till about 1:00. The cool front really slowed them down. Still got a pretty good mess. We were mainly catching the keepers in 2 to 3 feet of water. Some on brush piles and some on the flats. No good fish in any water over 5 feet deep. White and chartruce or anything with some orange seemed to do the trick. Here's a pic of Tall Timber with a nice Wappapello thumper. Don't get very many this size out of Wapp other than the spawn.

Didn't you say that lake is only 6' deep? Or was that another lake you were talking about?
