Reuters has an article where they tested fish from 291 freshwater streams and most of the fish were found to have mercury in them - their recommendation is to eat more of the smaller panfish like perch, bluegill and crappie. and not green carp. :D:D
Mercury-tainted fish found widely in U.S. streams | Science | Reuters
I guess what I meant to say was that I am glad that crappie fishing and eating your catch is healthier because I definitely like the fish fries. :D:D
All predator fish have Mercury . Some have high levels in certain fresh or Salt water species. If you eat Tuna, Swordfish, Mackeral, and some other fish sold in the markets your probably getting more Mercury than in any fresh water fish you catch.

Yea, and mercury fills you up faster so you can't eat as much!
