good job, shocker!
Went out and caught a few crappie using white and chartreuse yamaminnows. Fish were caught in roughly 15ft of water suspended at around 12 feet.
good job, shocker!

I think the yamaminnow may be the new yamamoto bait that is similar to a tiny bass assassin, with the stick tail. the body is a hair longer than the assassin and the top ( back ) of the minnow is flat. they also have some other new crappie baits, including a 1 1/2 or 2" curlytail grub. saw these baits at greentop sporting goods in glenn allen va.
Good going guys. I have been wondering, with CA having such a mild climate and long growing season, why are the crappie so small. I'm not trying to knock your fishing out there, I've just noticed from pics on here that the crappie are really small. I know they grow huge bass in CA, what's up with the crappie. I've yet to see you guys post a pic of a fish that would even be legal here. Keep after them, they all taste the same, no matter the size.
