    Default Bucksaw Again

Took the wife and kids back to Hay Creek this morning and the fishing was pretty slow compared to the last couple of days. Fished the 20 fow again but just caught a couple then we went deeper in the cove to 10 fow and started catching some nice fish, lost a couple of hogs at the boat but still had several 12 to 13 inch fish. My boy had his line broke by a Large Mouth Bass and my wife caught the same Bass less than a minute later with my boys jig still in it's mouth, we got a pretty good laugh out of that.

    Default Hay Creek

Bigby saw you in hay creek today. Thought that was your boat but wasnt sure. We were in blue and white ranger probably about noon. Tried some right there at the edge of the flat but couldnt even seem to get bit. The coupleof keepers we had came up by otter. Pretty slow. Recognized the boat from your posts.

Yep hothead I seen you, we caught most of our fish on the left side of the cove in 10 fow and about 3 ft deep close to the bank I think we brought home 24, we didn't find them til late in the morning, seemed like if we got to close to the tree we would spook them so we started flipping the jig out and letting sink pass the tree. They were tearing up the wht/silver jig today.

Yep Jared it was a pretty good day, thanks again for the braided line and helping me pick the 10 ft pole out. Bought the whole family one, my wife is having a hard time pulling the fish into the boat with them, she looks like Bill Dance playing with the fish before she gets it in the boat, pretty funny to watch
