Congradulations on those 50 years. That is really great to have the whole family together like that.
to start, I was brought up a Mennonite and a bit like the Amish, was taught not to toot your own horn. However I just can't keep quiet on this one.
Last Sat. (sept. 24) was our 50th wedding anniverary. I was sick with migraine for several days before and during, so didnt get my wife (Shirley) anything, not even a card or flowers, Then she gave me a very nice diamond ring, that eve we had dinner with our 5 kids and spouses and at least most of the grand kids, 2 of which are in the Army and due to be deployed to Irak (sp) very soon.
this was an awesome 'fishing trip' and I caught the best one and a true Keeper. she also likes to fish, but still works full time, so I have to fend for myself. nuff said, thanks for listening.

forgot to say this. we are the first to get to 50yrs in either of our families, has always been a death of spouse be fore there 46th yr. so is an extra special time for us.
