    Default Slick ramps on Shelbyville

With the lake being down almost 2 feet below normal pool the ramps are Extremely slick. I know from personal experience. Slipped not only once but twice while launching at Wolf Creek yesterday.

Was not as enjoyable as would have been if I was dry...LOL. Caught a couple of nice crappie but also short fish.

Be extra careful when you go out.

i din't get ou tot the lake till almost 9 because I was setting at Howey's eating breakfast and taking to the DNR fisheries biologist (Mike Mounce). I was going to fish up around cola shaft but he told me their shocking survey had better crappie in south half of the lake. Got off the lake about 11:30.

May try it again wed or thurs. Next time I'll let the boat float out a little farther and pull the SUV up a little more so I'm not wading in the water to get in the boat.

See Moose's post on the main board about copper sulfate to eliminate the algae. Have to ask the COE about that.
