Good fish yestersday....8/4/09 pics

[Cane Pole]

Crappie Gods blessed my yesterday afternoon. Water was rough, front was moving in, full moon in the making and I was willing. Water temp was 78-79 degrees and most fish caught holding tight to cover. I was again fishing about 12 foot of water (no depth offset enabled on sonar screen).

Wind was 15-20 miles an hour and I didn't have to use any chains.
Water was slapping the crap out of my jon boat. Fish didn't run away and hide from me.:rolleyes:

2 pole day. One in hand and one dangling a minner. I have to rest my arm a lot, so I "rack" 2 poles on occasion.

I was using Big bite jigs, one with a minner and one with chartreuse glow tube. The bite was lite, push up or a quick peck. I missed a bunch as my reactions are on a steady decline.:o




I saw the north sky getting dark, so I high tailed it in before the storm hit.

It was one of those days when everything went right. It happens on occasion.

I sure like weekday fishing.:D
