First regular boat was a 1990 Wellcraft 22' with a cuddy cabing (still have it). My first fishing boat was a 2009 Skeeter. But neither of these really count. The first boat that I use to be "allowed" to take fishing was a ~1987 18' Lowe Jon with a 35 Evenrude. My buddy and I took that boat everywhere. We were 12 and it was a year old, but we ran the snot out of that boat!

My first boat purchased was a 15' bass boat with a 50 Merc on it. Didnt keep it more than a couple years and went to a 16' narrow john with a 6 hp Evinrude. (Went from bass fishing to catfishing setting out jugs.) That was back in 1975.:o

1979 Champion champ II 17 1/2 ft with a 90 hp Johnson. Would love to have it back. Caught a lot of crappie in that boat. Even won a few tournaments in it.

My first boat was a canoe...left it in a tree 6' off the ground after trying to handle the Blue River in full flood stage! 1st fishing boat was an '82 Lowe "Lunker III" with a 50 hp Evinrude. No power trim. (Ooof!). Kept it until the transom dry rotted and the motor almost fell off. Motor is powering a pontoon on LOZ and the hull is probably tinfoil or a beer can by now.
