    Default Prop Problems!


    A bit frustrated tonight, but hoping my Skeeter dealer will take care of me. My boat is 4 months old and this happened today. No, I didn't hit anything. Running 62 at about 5800 RPM and something felt funny. Slowed down and it started vibrating so I shut down and raised the motor. This is what I found:



    Don't know what would cause this, but was feeling a bit frustrated and thought I'd share with you guys. Oh, on top of this, when we started trolling back home (we were a LONG way from home) the trolling motor quit!

    At least if the dealer shouldn't take care of it your insurance will, if you tell them you hit something...... looks more like a faulty prop to me..... but with some insurance you have to pay a deductable and it may still cost you... hope not......... good luck and better luck next.......
