Chotard in Vicksburg

Had a guide trip last wendsday to chotard. The weather was storming but would clear up for a little bit here and there. We long lined ozark secrets tube and caught about 5 or 6 but the gar would not leave us alone. All I did for 2 hours was tie jigs on because the gar. Then we made a move and got the jig poles out. We jigged bamboo matts as it stormed all around us. I finally fiqured out the jig(BNB CRAPPIE JIGS) chart/blue/chart and we managed 10 or 12 keepers. Had a couple a really good ones get off at the boat but had a great time. McKee it was great to meet you and when you come back from Texas again lets go catch some more. The fish in picture were a little over a pound but Mckee is about 6'5" atleast.
