    Here is Lowrances site. I don't know if they will work with the Garmin. If there are any PC gurus on the forum, they might be able to change the Lowrance file type, over to Garmins file type, thus allowing you to use it.

    www.navionics.com produces chips that are lowrance and garmin compatible. they have several versions and prices with the top end requiring top-end gps models that are really little more than onboard computers.

    Go to www.basspro.com and type in map in the search. It will come up with the list of each state and the maps that you can purchase.

    I wouldnt wanna buy a map that I couldnt view first. Maybe I'm dumb, but I didnt see the waterproof maps, just saw what lake they were for. Is there a way to view them first?

    I only think they show samples on the website to avoid people copying and printing the map on their own.
