Great report. Sounds like ya'll had a great time and finished the day with a fine mess of fish for the family. Congrats.
Spent the day with the son in on vacation, the old lake treated us fairly. Got off to a pretty slow start but from mid morning on picked up. Saw a couple of folks from last weekend and might have seen Mo Qwack but not sure if that was your Stratos or not?? We kept 15 for a family feed, turned loose another five or six keepers including a 1-8 and a 1-9 15 minutes apart around 2:00 this afternoon, finished up around 3:00. Mainly I was a guide running the boat and letting him fish, this was his first time long poling and he took to it like a duck to water, he caught probably 3/4 of the keepers today. From U bridge to Otter Creek, 14-17 fow was the deal for us with the fish in 7-12', the two biggest fish were in 12 feet of water, makes me wonder cause often I pass up fishing that deep in that area. Chartreuse combos best. Hope everyone has a chance to get out and go.
