    Default Help, Undecided, Opinions Needed

If you thought you wanted to buy a Humminbird 997csi. Would you buy one now or wait until the 2010 models are released? Humminbird will not say when the 2010 models will be released. Having trouble making a decision, decided to go to the experts for advice.

I'm not an expert, but I'm in the market, too, and I decided to wait for whatever that's worth.

Wait. It won't be long I'd bet. Summer stinks anyway. And if you drop that much money and miss out on a really cool feature, it will suck the fun out of ownership.

I have had my 1197cSI about a year now, and I'm still trying to figure out what is wrong with the GPS?? I can go back to anything I mark and find it pretty quick.
It's just as good as the Garmin hand held I have, so I quess I'm the lucky one

I'm waitin, just makin due with elcheapos till this techno situation gets straight. Sounds like Lowrance has sealing problems and HBird has GPS problems. And both being obsolete out of the box from what I'm hearing, but they'll get it straight.
