Chart.SPK One is Pepper and ones is Salt as pictured. Hooks ARKE RTlH-132 Bloodline-Jig Heads-10pack 1/32 oz and 1/16oz. The Char. Red Head is Squirmin Squirt from bass pro shop. Tubes all are short 1.5in. and are hollow. The crappie niblets in whike Bye Berkley. This is what I fish with at any given time under a slip bobber. In winter I vertical jig because I'm finding them in sixty to seventy foot of water.

Ken, ever try using a baitpump to fill your tubes? I find that i get many more crappies as it lasts a lot longer than a single nibble thats exposed. Dont knock it til you try it.

Your right...a Bait Pump and crappie nibbles is the only way to go when fishing tube jigs.

I love my baitpump. Don't know what I ever did without one.

Use either a sinker above your jig or you can rig Kentucky style with the weight on the bottom of your line and your jig above it on a short leader. Either way...when you pick up and drop the jig the jig movement is not affected by your sinker.

Old Ship uses a "modified" Kentucky rig to get his jigs down deep.
