If this is the Silver Lake in Western NY, near Perry, I've fished it. There's a 34" pike hanging on our livingroom wall that my wife caught there.
Panfish - South end over the shallow flats and out near where it drops off, depending on species you're after.
Pike - work outside edges of the weedlines along both sides and at the North end
LMB - North end near the outlet
SMB - Rocky areas along both sides above and below the drop-off
Walleye - dead-sticking right down the middle of the lake with dark colored grubs
If you're there on a weekend, be advised - it is a boat-rodeo on the weekends. There are generally boats flying all over the place all day long. The North and South ends will be the quietest places to fish.
Good luck and tight lines!!!
