i made one and then made a pattern fron a poster bord . . no plans just free handed the first . uase a hole saw frr the handle hole but longated it for a better pull out . the other end has a cut out to rest the rod in . i marked the sopt for the hole and drilled it befor i split the pipe . and went down the center of the hole and that left 2 half moon cutouts . i used a table saw ti cht a slot for a 1/4 nut to slide through . with a fender washer and a wingnut i can ajust the angle .

Looks pretty slick, yet easy papa. Great info! Is that 6" PVC?

I made some out of 4" PVC and they work great. BTW, Papa's looks a whole lot nicer than mine. He obviously is an excellent craftsman. Don't let your head swell Papasage, but they are nice. LOL

    Default PVC Holders

Well Papa, found me a three foot long piece of 7" PVC. It has fiberglass added to it. I have cut 12, 3.5" pieces and made a flexible aluminum template. I am doing the cutting on the table saw, and router table. Then using a barrel sander to smooth the curved areas, and a 2" pnuematic disc sander to sand every where else. I have changed the design a tad bit to fit my needs. I need to buy a new router bit, but was able to complete one. Here is what I have so far. I plan to paint all of them to match.

I'll take a couple more pics when it's all said and done. Once again, an excellent idea.

CR, those are really looking good. Obviously you and Papasage have a lot more patience than me.

looks good to me . that is what you call custom . build it like you want it . i had to redo mine after i made them as they wer a round hole where the but ofvthe rod went in and that made it a little hard to git out with a long handle rod . now as you se in the pick i longated them
