I fished HD from daylight till 3 pm and caught 64 total with only 6 legal. The legals ranged in length from 10" to 12 inches. Bought 2 dozen minnows and probably threw a good dozen away. Just pointing out that the bait store on the north east corner sure gives a very good count. Pretty much used the minnows all day but did use a jig some and did catch three of the legals on the jig. (a white and chartruse grub). Mainly tried the jigs just to get my confidence back up in using jigs which it did because the fish were aggressive. Also one tends to get tired of putting another minnow on after the 6 inch crappie throw off the minnows every time they are caught. Also since it was a catch and release day I did spend most of the day using the minnows since the two dozen count was so generous.
Spent all day in the Little Bull working the hedge row and channel edge timber. I considered it a enjoyable day after being off the water since the 17th.

fished hillsdale sunday fron daylite to noon. (man that bisquets and gravy at lake n dale is excellent!) didn't count em but caught alot and one 13 1/2". fished the trees from 18 to 26 fow and 8 to 10 ft down. minnow tipped jigs produced a lil better than jigs only
I went to Pomona on Sunday and i do believe the 110 Mile has a Algae Bloom.
Don't bother fishing HD today. We received a torrential down pour last night. My wife and I were sitting just outside the garage when a lightening bolt hit the tree right in front of us. We have a Smith Creek feeder running through the place and it is roaring with water right now......The thunder was so loud, my ears actually hurt and the wife was nearly deaf for a couple hours
