Clear Lake 7-26-09

Fishin' report #2! Went out to Clear Lake, IA this Sunday afternoon looking for some yellow bass, or whatever would hit. They told us that yellows tasted good, so why not try it? Went out to a channel just past a rock reef in about 12-16 FOW. 4 of us fishing, all with minnows on jig heads. We just drifted out and got on some fish! Before I had left the lake, we had about 18 fish in the cooler, and by the time they left with the boat, it totalled 26! Not bad for a mid afternoon fish at a lake we've never fished at before!

I wish I knew how they ate but I'm sure I'll get to try them this up coming weekend!
