    Default Got back from Grenada

Man, it is a long way down there.* Went down with my buddy, Larry.* Had the privelege of fishing two days with Sam Sandage, slow trolling minnows.* We did encounter a few problems, with Sam's lower unit making an awful racket on the first run Thursday morning.* Fished with the trolling motor down by the ramp and managed about 25 Thursday - 12 to 16 1/2".* Fish were fairly thin, but 6 or 7 were 2 lbs or better.* Sam's Hummingbird electronics were really impressive.* Sam borrowed another guy's boat to fish Thursday and we got to see a little more of the lake, but the fish had slowed down.* Got about 20 with the largest in the 15 1/2 - 16" range.* Drove back Saturday and rested up today.* Heading to Truman tomorrow to see Barn Dog and anybody else who may be hanging around from this weekend.*

Welcome home, Jim. We missed ya Saturday. Glad you got into a few gooduns while in Sippi. Barn and I are meeting at Bucksaw ramp Tuesday morning. Gonna try to coax a bite or two out of these stubborn Truman fish. You two can find em tomorrow. I appreciate any help I can get. Hope to see ya soon.

Sounds like a decent trip! Nice lake right there. Have a guy I filmed duck hunts with down there that fishes that lake and tells me bout all the 3 lb'ers they catch. Gonna have to take him up on his offer and crappie fish it one of these years. God bless.

Barn had 14 keepers yesterday morning using black and silver slabbusters with no minnow.
He was up around, HappyBob?, GayBob? Somthing Bob Cove.
I have no clue where that is.
    Go get them tiger.
    Glad you're livin' the dream.
