Big Fish Plaque

This is the Lee Roy Rodgers big fish plaque named in honor of Lee Roy who died this year. Lee Roy was one heck of a fisherman and a very dear friend and mentor of Jerry Blake.

Thank you for posting your picture of the big fish award...I cant tell you what it has meant to my family..It is a great honor for my father...I would have been there except for a lil blowhard named rita...they have had me working the entire time.. my entire shift was ordered not to go home the other night and we worked all night clearing limbs checking on folks and attending to a bunch of evacuees...I want to say on dads behalf thanks to all the people that put this great tournament on and do such a wonderful job...he would be very proud...i am looking foward to coming up for the next one taking that trophy myself...so be warned lol...once again thank you fatboy for taking the time to take that wonderful picture and posting it..and congrats to the winner of it........fish on........Brian Rodgers
