Super nice guy and a hoot to talk with also. Enjoy the free trip to Weiss Lake and glad you and your family came to the tourney. Hope you made it home safe and sound.

Thanks, guys! I enjoyed talking with you too. Rita shook us around a
little, and washed my truck good on the way back, but no big problems.
My oldest daughter is already making plans for our trip to Weiss. I'm
pretty excited myself. Never been on a guided trip before, unless you
count a saltwater trip when I was a kid. It'll be something to sit back and
let somebody else worry with positioning the boat and all that and just fish
Oh, I almost forgot - does your camera still work after that? :D

Dang JWhite, I did not realize you were there. Sorry I missed you. I wanted to talk to you one crankbaiter to another and trade some secrets. Hope you make it next year.

Same here, Bandit! Didn't realize you were there. The whole thing was
sort of a blur - went by way to fast. I would have liked to talk crankbaits
with you too. As for next year, unless something major comes up to keep
me away, I'll be there. Like I said on another post, I've got a score to
settle with those KY Lake crappie! How did you do? I couldn't find any
decent sized fish. I think I was fishing too shallow, but not knowing the
lake, I gambled on finding one or two good ones among all the dinks - and it didn't pan out.

Jeff,
We did ok, ended up with 5.9 lbs. We did not fish with crankbaits. We had a banner year with cranks from 1st of May until 1st week of July but was not able to find them last week. We ended up jiggin over brushpiles and stake beds.
