check out your bait tank & make sure it is off
I need some help, I have a Bass Tracer Bass Buggy pontoon boat and when going down the lake water comes in under the console. Even at slow speeds and minimal wake it seeps in and soaks the carpet. There are no wires or cables hanging loose under the flooring that I can find. It is like a gusher when going any speed at all. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Grumpa

If you have a water presssure gauge on the console check the hose for cracks or broken.
Does it have a speedometer? Most are water pressure driven off the engine or a pitot tube. If you have one, follow the tube and see if it isn't split somewhere. Water freezing in the winter will often split them.
The gauge or speedometer is my guess.

I had the same problem in my bass boat . I found the hose on my pressure gage had come off . Just like the other post read check your speedometer hose as well .
See ya Kevin ><)))*>
Excellent
Like they all said it's prolly the line from your pitot pickup.

Is there a 2" or 3" hole in the floor where the steering cable goes under your boat to your motor ?
Thanks for all the responses, the speedometer has quit working so the tubing for it is probably the problem, will check sometime this week. It does have the 2-3 inch hole for all the cables and wiring but the water is not coming up thru it
