    Default need fish id!

Alright you Alabama boys, need some help with id of a saltwater fish that we caught today in Orange Beach. It was about 7-8lbs. dark tan in color and it had one spine on it's dorsel fin that was about 12 inches long. One ugly dude too. Never did get it on the dock, but did get a good look at it. Caught it off the dock at the condo we are staying at. We did land a 16 lb redfish yesterday evening on a 6' Ugly Stick and a '76 model Mitchell Garcia that my dad had brought along. Took 20 minutes to get it in, but got some pics of it that I will post when I get home. Thanks for your help.

When I was a kid and fished the Galveston area a lot, we caught the above mentioned "sailcat", but called them Gafftops...Looks like the same fish.
