    Default Longview Lake/Blue Springs Lake Crappie


    hello all-

    was wondering if anyone on here fishes Longview lake for crappie. If so I was wondering what jig colors you have had some luck with and some areas of the lake to try. I just started fishing there and Blue Springs lake when I cant get down to Truman. Thanks for any tips/advice.

    welcome to the board kyle/boost! same here, i haven't fished longview in several years, did pretty bad last time i did... been wanting to give it another go, heard they can be found though. if you make it out, let us know how you did and what works best.

    Not my stomping grounds either. But welcome to the site from Truman lake. We have some guys from up in that area. They should be able to help you out.

    I talked the wife into heading down to Truman this weekend so I'll be fishing around T6 this weekend. Ill give a report on how I do when I get back and hopefully there might be some info on Longview or Blue Springs. Thanks for the warm welcomes and if anyone in the KC area wants to hit up the local lakes I always have room in the boat. I catfish also. The wife caught an 8 1/2 lb channel out at Blue Springs last weekend.
