Smile The Best Crappie Lure Available!!!!!!!!!!

You'll hear stories from people all around the world saying, "I know what the best lure is." Well, about a month ago, I came across a jig that looked pretty interesting to try. Creme Mini Tails was what they were called. Tube jigs. I never really was a fan of tube jigs for crappie fishing, but as all of you Bass fisherman know, Creme knows what they're doing when it comes to making lures. So I got 3 packs of the black and chartreuse ones with 10 lures in each pack. It all cost me about $5, so I was happy. Well, I was down at river where I usually fish, and nobody was catching anything. So, I tossed in one of my new lures with a 1/4 oz. jig head in it and it wasn't 45 seconds when WHAM! I got a bite. Pulled him out, put him on the stringer and cast again. 30 seconds later WHAM! another. Then just my luck, I had to go home and eat dinner. HAHAHAHA! But I brought home some NICE fish!

Sorry, but I believe the Banjo Minnow in conjunction with Roland Martin's Rocket fishing rig will out do any artificial bait.

But you gotta keep going back and try again and again. Hard to beat old Roland.

Glad you are having some fun. The best lure is the one that the Crappie bites that day,

Yeh Buddy, If Roland says it'll work you can take it as gospel.

Yea, I'll agree with this one. Congrats on the fish young man!:p That's a nice pair of slabs you got there. Also, welcome to the boards. It's always good reading fishing stories (reports) and seeing pics of what people catch. Keep 'em coming.

Alex, welcome to the board for you friendly Cajun neighbors in La. Those are some nice one you have there. There nothing like finding a lure that you think will work and when you try it, you were right, it works. Congrats, fine job of catching.

Congrats on your catch. Creme has been around almost for ever. I use to buy them little pre-rigged worms and I do mean the small ones with a tiny spinner blade (the one like a propeller)and when the bass wouldn't hit much you could always have some fun catching them in the creeks of this lake.
