    This big boy was hooked but never bought in. The high wall never helped matters any. At least their was a photo before he went down. Oh well someone else can try.

    thats the meanest nastiest lookin crappie i ever did see...LOL


    Looked like a dandy cat, just gotta go hunt him down again, bigger cats tend to be home bodies, bet hes right there waiting for you again.

    You need to find or make a bridge hook. Large weighted treble hook on a comfortable diameter rope to snag and land him with. Doesn't take up a lot of room like a large net does. All that is provided he'll be table fare.

    I'd find me a REAL long handled net and I agree hes still there somewhere.

    I have seen some guys around here that fish off of the Lock and Dam that had a collapsible basket that they used. They would have it setting on the edge of the concrete and once the fish had been fought to the surface they would kick the basket in the water and move the fish over it then pick it up with the rope.
