A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
not to many good fishing holes in Iraq that I know of.
I've sent a bunch of deer jerky over to the sand box. The Missouri boys sure like it. I wish there was a way to send them some crappie fillets.

Sure wish I knew WHO he is and WHERE he calls home, I'd offer him a seat in my boat, and keep the offer open.

those care packages are nice. i used to get 1 or 2 a week when I was in iraq. never got any crappie filets. I'd even been happy with a box of fishsticks. i thought it was amazing how people I didnt even know were sending me stuff.
not sure what it stands for,but there is a program called "sounds"-local guy collects outdoor related magazines and books like field&stream etc...and sends them over.
He said they are very appreciated and passed around till the covers come off them.
If ya'll have any interest I'll track it down-maybe everyone can bring their old issues to a get together?(no porno)
Hillbilly I have to agree with you it is really nice to get packages. We got packages from people all over the US when I was overseas last year. It really help keep are spirits up while we are there.
