    Default Stockton Wednesday

Finally got to get my grandson out to the lake. Not his first time fishing....my son has taken him and fished from the bank. But this was his first time in a boat and his first CRAPPIE!! He had a GREAT TIME. We were only going for 3-4 hours , thought that would be all a 7 yr. old could take. Guess he takes after Grandpa, couldn't get him to quit. Fished 7 1/2 hours. Bet he caught 20-30...7-9 1/2 inch crappie and a handful of bass. He was disappointed he didn't catch a keeper, But I told him that happens to the best of us...and I give him a few names I am sure some of you would Recognize. Put in a CC and Ended up with 9 keepers. The two my grandson is holding were almost 14 inches...one 1lb 6....and one 1lb 4. Had a Great Day...Sprinkled a couple times, but felt good! He goes back home to Middlesboro,KY. this weekend....so doubt we'll see him till Christmas.

I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

Great post, Frosty. I love seeing pics of kids fishing. Those smiles are priceless. Thanks for making this day brighter.
