Default For all yall catfish juggers

I have been jugging a few times but never on my own. What type of line should i use? I already know how to make the jugs and these will be free floating jugs, not anchored ones. thanks for the help. Ben

I Use Cheap Mono, Around 30lb Test From Walmart. It Works Pretty
Well, I Also Know Of Guys That Use That White Twine In The Sporting
Goods Dept At Walmart. We Also Use The Kids "'noodles, Swimming Toys"
Cut Into 12 Inch Lengths Instead Of Jugs. They Work Great, Even For Large Fish. We Used Them At Reelfoot And Had A Ball.

Go to www.catfish1.com to find all of the information you need to know about jugs and catfish in general. I am Redtick on that board also.

I have used 20 lb test and never had a fish break it, I have broken it on snags though. Nothing high quality just 20 lb test.

thanks for the replys yall. I think im gonna use the braided trotline for my main line and then make two dropers out of 35lb leader with a 3/O circle hook. I guess it will look kinda like those premade surf fishing rigs but bigger. I'm also gonna use some single hook rigs as well.
