outstanding duncan. whats that old saying skinney water and a 10ft.pole, glad you two got into the fish, later man
Was a strange and fun day on the Grand. Last saturday couldn't catch a fish in less then 12 foot of water, today we didn't catch a fish in anything over 5 foot of water. Most of our fish came from less then 3ft. Caught a bunch in less then 2ft of water. Spent several hours fishing new water, paid off pretty good. Checked a couple of my new spots from last weekend, since the water is down at least 5 foot. they all paid off too.
I kept 11, passenger kept 14. Best 7 were 6 pounds 14 oz. So not a steller day, but it was a lot of fun.

Way to go. Dave
May all your live wells be full.Dave
good job on finding some with some size today! surprised to hear you caught them so shallow. where i was there was a "slot depth" not too deep, not too shallow. anything else was nothing.
WTG, that one is real nice! i almost jumped in a few times, if i only had a towel... :-)
Why do I have to press 1 for English?
A Lot Better Luck Than We Had On The Osage Today....... May Have To Move Back Over To The Grand, Thank You For The Report......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Great report and some nice fish. It is a good feeling to go find them in new areas. Glad it payed off going back to what was unproductive water on your last trip. I have a bad habit of finding some spots that look good but not catching anything the first time. And not trying them again under different conditions. Congrats on a good day.
Keep after em Dunc see ya soon.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
way to go , good report.
That's a nice mess of fish... Congrats on the catch!
