long shoal 7/11

woke up early and it was raining so i checked the weather channel and it changed from a 40% chance of rain to 95%, so i slept in a little. launched from Long Shoal at 9:30. hard to find a parking spot there today!

haven't fished from that ramp in 3-4 years. took some time to find any numbers. caught about 45, 13 would have kept but i threw them all back today. best on hardwoods, color didn't matter so much. just dropped to the bottom and pull up slow. one pole kind of day.

did best in 9-20 FOW right on trees on main lake. hardwoods were better than cedars. NIBBLES!!!

nothing of any real size, biggest was 11. lots of 8's...

Good job. Ended up being a pretty nice day. I wish I would have had swimming shorts on today, there were a few times I wanted to jump in.

sounds good camo wish I was there also duncan, I would have toss you in the water, or at least tried. jk. dont hit me. never fished that part of the lake, heck guess I should venture out more often, anyway congrats on the good time on the water. later man
