Here is the typical environment that you would be fishing in at Patoka.

    AGREED, whole-heartedly....it was pretty loaded!

I started to say something yesterday to that effect, but didn't want
anyone to think I was "downing" their favorite lake I realize I'm an
oddball when it comes to crappie fishing (among other things) but it
looks like a nightmare to me :D My dream situation is a huge flat with
a creek channel winding down it, with maybe a few low stumps...
or nothing else! I guess its good some of us like fishing different stuff,
or else we'd all be in each other's way :D Same for the golfers I used to
watch when I fished Trace State Park - I imagined we both thought about
the same of each other while doing our respective things out in the rain and
cold - NUTS! It'd be awful crowded down on the fishing hole if we all thought
    exactly the same. Jeff

We have a similar small lake in our area. It's called Stumpy Pond :D
    John 21:3
Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

And we act like this Nightstalking thing is new.

For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin
