    Default 7/7 Smithville

Well, Triton & I went out to Smithville after the Walleye's in the evening. Heard that some had been having some success on them. We started pulling some cranks and whatta ya know first fish on in 5 mins. We think not to bad. We found a really good school of them and in 8-15 FOW. We ended up with 7 Walleyes only 3 being legal but still a good mess for a meal.

Also caught 2 white bass, 2 crappie..... And Triton caught the only Drum of the trip.....:p

Talking to a guy at the ramp from town and he told us of him catching a 10lb Walleye trolling a crankbait. I would love to get ahold of one of them that size.

Pics will be added after I get them from Mike.

Those are some good eatin my friend. Congrats.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

We caught them off of 3 different types of Cranks. It really didn't seem to matter much. All 3 were different colors although most had a bunch of Chart. in them. Rapalas Lee
