    Default bucksaw 7/6

launched at 6:30am. started by hitting some of the spots that were good last weekend but noticed that the water seemed lower by a foot or 2? caught a few and then headed to find some new spots. early in the day before it got hot (85), caught them early in 5-10 FOW in cedars and nearby flats on a slow troll. later in the day when the sun came up, fishing in 20-30 FOW produced a few more. boated about 50 specks but only 12 over 10". don't think a single keeper was produced if a cedar wasn't nearby.... fish seemed to get smaller as the day went on. saw lots of bait fish swimming shallow... water clarity was 4".

hands down the best lure was a 2" slab-buster blue/chart

thought i saw JJ motoring by? headed that way but saw some more good cedars and got side-tracked :-)

Sounds good compared to what we found. We ran 10 miles or so each way from Bucksaw and found it to be a tough bite. Started out real good and then slowed. We got in to a great white bass bite down river for a few hours. Fun Fun
