    Default MTL limit

fished MTL 7/5/09 from 5:30 p.m. til 8:30 p.m. and was able to get a limit from 10-14 inches. The color of choice was blk/char on a chart road runner head with a chart crappie nibble. The fish were in 10-30 fow 4-10 feet down. Most trees only surrendered 1-2 crappie, but a couple of the bigger trees gave up 3-4. All in all it was a great evening to be on the water, no bugs and the weather was fantastic. Will post pics, but need to get new camera as mine is in the bottom of MTL.

Congrats, Scott. That's a good time for sure.

Great report, good fishing, bad for the camera. Maybe the crappie that you left in the lake are laughing at all the pictures on the camera. What portion of the lake were you on? I really want to get back up there!

Ditto - whereabouts? I'm hoping to get up there one day this weekend.

Casting a small boat anchor tied to line strong enough to pull a truck out of the mud with a rod that flexes like a broom handle?
