    Default steering cable

loaned my boat out for the weekend and it was returned with a busted steering cable. got it rigged so that we can had steer for tomorrow, but definitely want to fix it proper. where's the best place to get a 13 foot cable that connects the steering wheel to my 35HP motor? what should i expect for that part to cost?

Not sure on price. I would call Long Shoal device center. Robert and Ryan will get you fixed up.

    Default Cost Depends

I Would Assume That You Have A Single Rotary Style Cable, These Are Not That Bad, Between $100-$150.... You Can Install Yourself They Are Pretty Easy, We Put New Dual In Ron's About 4 Months Ago Lot Harder Running Dual And His Cost About $350.00, We Done It Ourselves, Shops Would Have Charged $600 +..... Hope This Helps.... You Can Go Online And Order Your Own, Back On The Cable It Should Say What Style... Detmar...etc..?? And The Proper Length Which You Already Say Is 13'.....

thanks guys. i was planning to stop by long shoal marina first, they have always done me right in the past, and they have a surprisingly complete inventory for not being too big of a shop. it came apart easy, hope it goes back easy too.

you can look for an after market they are just as good and 1/2 the price

just look on the black covering on yours to get the length.

you can change it yourself they are easy to do.
