    Friggin' forest rats!

I wish good luck upon all deer hunters. Fill those freezers and clean out those woods!

I noticed that also...looks like cattle being fed along a grain line.

About 10 years ago Mn. had a bad winter and deer were starving...the populace forced the legislature to suppliment natural forage by dumping hay from trains on the northern range. The results were as predicted by the DNR.

Massive die offs as the result of stress and passing disease by crowding so many wild animals together.

I received several of these pics this past Spring and was told they were taken at a lake in Maine. Some of the pics had snowmobiles driving and leaving the trail to avoid the deer. They must have been feeding them along the trail.

Well Well, i see a couple angles that I would have loved to have been at standing at the top of the hill looking down through the scope of a 300 mag. Talk about a pile of deerburger. That would be one efficient shot too. Think about how many You could kill with a $1.50 bullet. That would definitely be worth the money of breaking out the heavy artillery. This would have been a call for more covert tactics with 2 or 3 well placed shots simultaneously. You could have wiped out the whole stinking herd. it would have well worth the planning and trouble. I would have broken out the front end loader for the results of that one for sure. That could have easily been another deerburger hill. What a pity. I only have one question and one other statement.

    1) Why the hell can't I see that on My farm?!!! Talk about time efficiency.

    2) If there was only one woodsgoat left in this world and I could shoot it dead, I would. CF
