Is crappie fishing the same this time of the year as it is in the spawn?

i think they are deeper this time of year and are easier to catch at night, but i don't really know anything about it

i dont think so, during the spawn they are everywhere, now they seem to be scattered, unless you are fishing marsh cuts or boat lanes where they are more conjested.
