Visited with EE today here at Windsor and he has introduced me to the Google Earth Map of Truman, man what a blast... charted old Ron and My course from last week from Berry Bend ramp up to Z bridge, then back down to Berry to Hoagle Creek and back to Berry ramp...round trip 30.2 miles and i used 8.5 gallons of gas..... Heck that old 95 EFI 150 Merc gets better mileage than I thought... Man I got stick pins all over this map showing where we catch fish....... Just what a peckerwood like me needs to remeber where I was yesterday... Like the way u can put the path right on it where u have been...... I know I am about 5 years behind on upgrades.... but new to me......... Hang on ..... them reports may get wild.......

Just get Ron to drop some money a new GPS/Sonar and you can have it in the boat with you. Of course I will need to reveiw your waypoints perodically.

Pretty slick system. I use to use one called Terra something. It was black and white and fuzzy. Goggle earth is a lot clearer. Hell I even have it built right in on my new Iphone. Has directions just like mapguest and gps like a tomtom in a car but with the satilite pictures.

Waypoints are your fishing spots or GPS coordinates. Mine stores 1000 and then you just download to a SM card and go again.

I get back from Cape this weekend we will go in my boat and I'll show you how you can way the crappie before you catch em. Tell Ron he can bring his dog.
