    expensive but a great time to be had. enjoy this site & all the info you folks supply. here are a few picts. from the past. enjoy & fish on. teach a child to fish.

    Wink Hey PWB ....

    Looked thru your pics ... nice catches !!

    But ... in the "leftovers" pic, I think that you are leaving a bit too much meat on those heads It would appear that you make your filet cut in a straight line down the side of the fish. You get more belly and less back (shoulders) meat, when you make a vertical cut like that. You might want to make a more diagonal cut .. from more above the eyes, towards the anal opening. You lose only the belly meat/bones ... and gain more shoulder/back meat
    And once you get used to cutting at that angle, it will come as natural and easy as cutting straight down the side ... plus, your total weight of filets will increase !!

    looks like you guys were busy catching fish, good job. were the crappie spawning that time of year over there ?

    also your picture of the fish in the frying pan looked like there are bubbles in there, you didn't was you fish in dawn dish soap did you

    that puddle in the road is where i go when i dont have enough cash to go to the lake. crappie

    it isin't dish soap , i just did not change the grease & tried vto cook another batch . ready to fish.


    ps: next time i will not be in such a hurry
