    Default Fall fishing trip


    I'm trying to plan a Fall trip for the first part of November and was wondering where to go. I'm interested in catching some quality crappie and was wondering if anybody had some suggestions. Wanting to fish at a place that has some resorts or hotels nearby. Any help would be very appreciated.

    Default Fall Fishing Trip

    I would recommend Sardis Lake or Grenada Lake in Mississippi. The fall fishing
    is top of the line then, big crappie and lot's of them.
    They'll be gorging them selfs on shad, on the lake flats. There are motels close by both lakes.
    If you want a guide John Woods is a 2 time national crappie champion guides on both these lakes, and is a outstanding guide.

    Kentucky Lake for me. We have went every fall for the past 5 years. My favorite time to go.
    Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.

    +1 on Grenada Lake in the early fall....hard to beat for quality fish.
